Freeman Road Park

In 1994, a 6.3 acre property on the south side of Freeman Road was donated by Planned Communities, Inc. to the Township. It was later named Freeman Road Park and developed. In 2001, an additional 0.4 acre lot was dedicated to the Township off Commonwealth Drive as part of a Highland Lakes East subdivision plat. This park is now 6.7 acres in size with access to the two different roads. The park currently contains 35 asphalt parking spaces, a shelter house with picnic tables, a drinking fountain, portable restroom, playground equipment, three basketball courts and a perimeter walking path. The eastern portion of the lot is an open grass field that contains a soccer goal and is open to a variety of uses.
