Genoa Township students attend schools within three separate districts including Big Walnut Local School District, Olentangy Local School District, and Westerville City School District depending upon their home address. Some students also attend private schools such as All Children of the World,
Genoa Christian Academy, St. Paul School located within or near the Township.

A map of the approximate school district boundaries within Genoa is provided below. To verify which school district you reside within, call the Delaware County Auditor’s Office at (740) 833-2900 or visit the Delaware County Auditor website.

Safe Routes to School

In April 2011, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) approved the Genoa Township Safe Routes to School Travel Plan. Our Travel Plan covers the three elementary schools and middle school located within our boundaries.  Alcott Elementary, Fouse Elementary and Genoa Middle School are part of the Westerville City School District.  Walnut Creek Elementary is part of the Olentangy Local School District.
